Daniel Erdman was born in North London. A bad haircut at age twelve led to his unbridled obsession with hair. For the next several years family and friends were regular customers for young Daniel. This resulted in working for salons after class and on Saturdays, being suspended from school for cutting hair, winning competitions and traveling the world at seventeen using his newfound trade to earn money on the road.
At twenty Daniel became a stylist for cruise ships and two months later found himself being promoted to managing various cruise line spas. He travelled around the US, Carribean, Panama, South America, Hawaii and Alaska and a year later was working in a high profile Beverly Hills salon highly in demand as a stylist. During this stint, a photographer enlisted him for a hair campaign after being struck by a model sporting one of his new styles. Session hairdressing, fashion week shows and music videos with artists like Robbie Williams, Cher, George Michael, Bon Jovi and the Dixie Chicks followed.
Daniel has since established relationships on magazine cover projects with actors such as Clive Owen, Rachel Weisz, Demi Moore, Sharon Stone, Penelope Cruz, David Duchovny and Dustin Hoffman.
Fourteen years later, Daniel resides in Venice California and splits his time between being a personal stylist to Dustin Hoffman and David Duchovny on their hit shows, maintaining styles for a host of other leading actors including Zach Braff and Jason Schwartzman, as well as looking after several other celebrities for The Oscars, Golden Globes and other major events.
